En Christian és un nedador de llarga distància Andalus que properament anirà a Nova Zelanda a fer l’intent de creuar l’Estret de Cook, la distància que separa les dues illes que componen aquest increible país. En cas d’èxit, en Christian estaria a tant sols tres travessies d’aconseguir l’anomenat: “The Ocean’s Seven”, que son les 7 travessies de llarga distància en aigües obertes més prestigioses del planeta. Encara no hi ha cap nedador en tot el món que ho hagi aconseguit, es tracta de completar:
“The Ocean’s Seven include (1) the Irish Channel between Ireland and Scotland, (2) the Cook Strait between the North and South Islands of New Zealand, (3) the Moloka’i Channel between O’ahu and Moloka’i Islands in Hawaii, (4) the English Channel between England and France, (5) the Catalina Channel near Los Angeles, California, (6) the Tsugaru Channel between Honshu and Hokkaido in Japan, and (7) the Strait of Gibraltar between Europe and Africa”
